The project has not only created awareness on dangers of exam malpractice and cultism, it also created the structures and literature for sustained exam ethics campaign at national, state and institutional levels. Over 200 tertiary institutions in Nigeria have operational chapters of Exam Ethics Marshals and Students. Impact assessment studies on the excel partnership project was conducted over a period of ten years in some partner states including Imo, Abia, Rivers, Edo, Benue and Kogi States and Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. The studies` confirm the Project as a success story in terms of helping students perform better in examinations, entrenchment of examination ethics, and eradication of examination malpractice. The performance of students in examinations improved by 65% in pilot states while the exam malpractice index declined by 42% in terms of number of results cancelled for involvement in malpractices. Hundreds of thousands of Exam Ethics Marshals and Students are operational in Exam Ethics Friend and Partner Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions in Nigeria and other Countries.
